SWOTOR public test starting soon

I dunno if you guys are still checking out the SWOTOR site frequently, but its announced that there will be a beta test starting soon.

The game starts to look sweeter and sweeter every day, look at some of the trailers, esspecially the new one http://www.swtor.com/media/trailers/deceived-cinematic-trailer

Cant wait for this game to be ready tbh, it looks so much more fun than WoW atm...

The game looks interesting but from what i've seen of the abilities available to the classes there will either be no pvp or it will be complete shit since alot of attacks seem to have some form of cc attached to it.

Are you siding with the republic or the empire?

Empire i think, same reason as wow in the beginning, lots of kiddies will join the "good guys" so wiser ppl will eventually join "bad guys"...

And about pvp, there must be pvp, the game is based on a war between the 2 factions so..

Of course but the problem i see with it is alot of the attacks seem to have temporary stuns attached for the duration of the attack which would be very stupid to have in pvp. They could be remove such things from working on players though.

Was thinking of joining the empire aswell but i've seen alot of boba fett and darth vader fanboys on the forums so not sure which side will really end up with the kids. It's just like how in warhammer online it was the destruction side that was over populated on servers and swarming with kids because everyone wanted to be a dark elf or chaos chosen

lol, im sure more kids will go Darth Maul / Sidios / Vader or Luke / Anakin Skywalker, Yoda, Han Solo or Sifo-Dyas...

And these are all Jedi / Sith, bounty hunters have no other real famous character than BobaFett..

That really depends on if you followed the lore outside of the movies. There was in fact several famous bounty hunter characters (can't actually name them off the top of my head even after reading it )But i guess only the more mature players will know of them. I know as a kid the Fett man was my favourite character though
